And so it begins...

...the nonstop, hardworking labor that's put into making a game. And we
decided to do it, just Patrick and myself. I'm creating all 3D
aspects while he programs it into an engine. We've been working since
January '06. It's now the beginning of May so I figured, why not start a
blog of our progress?
What started us to do this? It's simple. The love of Sierra games! Not only that, but the lack of great adventures with a solid storyline on the shelves these days. Adventure was once the lead in computer gaming but as the world progressed with technology, the "lazier" we became where role-playing and first person shooters became more attractive. Our passion is to show the world that adventure still has a place on those shelves. It may not be big as it once was but we're here to help make it bigger and more substantial. We want to create something with a solid storyline that reaches out and grabs the player. We want the player to not only play the game, but to be the character, the audience, and the director all at the same time. All of these elements is what made up the great success in Sierra's adventures. Growing up around Sierra's adventures impacted us from King Graham, The Hero, Roger Wilco, Sonny Bonds, Larry, Laura Bow, Gabriel Knight to so many other characters that brought completeness to our childhood. What would a world be without Sierra? Without Sierra, I think adventures games would be almost non-existant today. Let's bring these games back! :airhighfive!: |
